On
18th of
November 1898
the
young
laborers
from
C.W.
Obel
Factories
Tobacco
established
Workers
Athlete
Club,
where
weightlifting
and
wrestling was on the program.
At
the time,
only
tobacco
workers
admitted
into
the
club. Later, when the club was opened to all, boxing came on the program and had been renamed Jyden - inspired by Steen Steensen Blichers "Jyden he is strong and tough". Today Jyden has it's own boxing department where you can enjoy Fighting Boxing, Boxing Exercise and Fitness Boxing. The club is for everyone, both men and women, big and small. |
